It's time for Canadian Universities to take the PhD admission process in their hands. Currently students who are admissible can't pursue their studies unless they find so called supervisors , the professors. Any admitted students found admissible should be placed under a supervisor by the universities. If a student is admissible to a PhD program that means he or she is qualified to pursue a PhD. Currently this is not the case. An admissible student has to find a supervisor.
If you don't have enough supervisors to take new students then why do you make them admissible and offer scholarships? This is not right.
