Expanding in a large space,
Who drew this four-dimensional painting here,
dear Kannamma?
Do you think there are
more multi-dimensional paintings,
beyond four that exist parallel Kannamma?
If they do, do you believe  or
Do you think
There is a way to reach them
Kannamma?

காலத்தால் அழியாத கானம் - 'நேற்று வரை நீ யாரோ? நான் யாரோ?'

The late Kannadasan, a Tamil writer, poet, and film lyricist, adeptly utilized his knowledge of ancient Tamil literature in crafting lyrics. some of his popular songs were composed in this manner, including one of my personal favorites from the movie 'Vazkaip Padagu' (Life Boat or Life as a Boat), produced by the famous Gemini studio. எனது ஆங்கிலப் பயணம் (My English Journey)

எனது புதிய  ஆங்கில வலைப்பதிவு  'vngiritharancorner' - 'My English Journey (எனது ஆங்கிலப் பயணம்') என்னும் தலைப்பில் எனது ஆங்கில வலைப்பதிவில் பதிவொன்றினை இட்டிருந்தேன்.  அதனை இங்கு பகிர்ந்துகொள்கின்றேன்.

When I think about English, I think about the late A.S. Kanagaratnam, known as 'ASK.' His house was located at Senior Lane, Jaffna. In fact, I attended his tuition classes during my G.S.E (A/L) studies while I was attending Jaffna Hindu College to enhance my English knowledge. I learned English grammar clearly from his classes.  After that, I pursued Architecture at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. The curriculum was in English medium. There was no choice but to immerse myself in reading all the  theoretical books related to Architecture. Books like Banister Fletcher's 'World Architecture' were voluminous. They contained numerous new words related to building, Architecture, Urban Planning, and Art. Immersing myself in reading these books indeed helped me improve my English proficiency. 'என்ன நினைச்சே நீ என்ன நினைச்சே' - 'சொக்கத்தங்கம்' படப் பாடல்!

அண்மையில் மறைந்த நடிகரும், அரசியல் தலைவருமான விஜயகாந்ந் நினைவாக ஒரு பாடல். 'சொக்கத்தங்கம்' திரைப்படத்தில் இடம் பெற்றுள்ள இப்பாடலைப் பாடியிருப்பவர்கள் உன்னிகிருஷ்ணன் & அனுராதா ஶ்ரீராம்.

 

விஜயகாந்த்துடன் நடித்திருப்பவர் சவுந்தர்யா. மருத்துவப் படிப்பை உதறிவிட்டு நடிக்க வந்து வெற்றியீட்டியவர். ஆந்திர அரசியலிலும் ஈடுபட்டார். விளைவு விமான விபத்தில் பலியானார்.

அஞ்சலி: தேசிய முற்போக்குத் திராவிடக் கழகத்தலைவர் விஜயகாந்த் மறைவு!

தமிழ்த்திரையுலகில் எனக்குப் பிடித்த நடிகர்களில் ஒருவர் நடிகர் விஜயகாந்த். தன்னைக் கறுப்பு எம்ஜிஆர் என்று அழைத்துக்கொள்வதில் மகிழும் விஜயகாந்த் உண்மையிலேயே திரையிலும், அரசியலிலும் எம்ஜிஆரின் வழியில் நடந்தவர். அதுவே அவரது திரையுலக, அரசியல் ஆதிக்கத்துக்கு முக்கிய காரணம்.

 

சிறிது தந்திரமாகத் தமிழக அரசியலில் அவர் நடந்திருந்தால் இன்றும் அவரது தேசிய முற்போக்குத் திராவிடக்  கழகம் முக்கியமான , வலு மிக்க கட்சியாக இருந்திருக்கும்.
