Lightning makes a line through the city,
engulfing it in darkness.
Thunder roars.
The rain opens up like a scene
in a silent movie.

I am looking at the rain from a nest in the concrete tree. Like scenes from a silent movie, the rain appeared to me. Rain is one of my favorite natural events. Watching it is one of my favorite hobbies. Enjoying rain is a kind of sweet and unique experience.

பவதாரணி: 'மயில் போல பொண்ணு ஒன்னு!"

இளமையில் மரணம் கொடிது. பாடகி பவதாரணி இன்னும் நீண்ட காலமிருந்து இசையுலகில் மேலும் பல சாதனைகளைச் சாதித்திருக்க வேண்டியவர். 

'பாரதி' பாடத்தில் பாடிய 'மயில் போல' பாடல் மூலமே என் கவனத்தை  ஈர்த்தவர். இப்பாடலுக்காகச் சிறந்த பாடகிக்கான இந்திய மத்திய அரசின் தேசிய விருதினைப் பெற்றவர். தந்தையின் இசையமைப்பில் இவ்விருதை இவர் பெற்றதும் முக்கியத்துவம் மிக்கது.

அவர் மறைவால் ஆழ்ந்த துயரில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கும் இசைஞானி மற்றும் குடும்பத்தவர் , இரசிகர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கல்.

Chapter One: I am ,Vikramathithan, speaking!

My name is Vikramathithan. people who know me well even call me  'Modern Vikramathithan'. My short name is Vikraman who never get tired. Like vikrmathithan without tiredness climbs up the murungai tree get the dead body and how he gets the body while descending the tree he never get tiredness. each time he faces failure, that doesn't stop him from trying again and agian.  In that sense  Iam like him. that's why my close friend call me 'Naveena Vikramathiththan' 'Naveena' meens in Tamil 'Modern'. I never get tired trying new things, failed  ones. in fact if you think during these circumstances , I feel happy, that would be a nice thinking, I think. I don't have any objections for that.

I have a great desire to think,appreciate and read about existence. Our existence in the universe is not only great but also trifle too. thinking gives me happiness. thinking gives me understanding. thinking makes things ckear.

Albert Einstein was introduced to me by my dad in my childhood. He made a scrapbook using construction papers featuring photographs of many prominent personalities from around the world. That scrapbook also included pictures of famous places worldwide. One of the personalities featured in the scrapbook was Albert Einstein.

His theories of General relativity and special relativity are the reasons for my liking him. Until Newton, space and time were considered absolute; they were not affected by any movements happening around them.

Bharathiyar: A Great Tamil, Indian poet!

என் அபிமானக் கவி மகாகவி பாரதியாரைப் பற்றிய ஆங்கிலக் குறிப்பொன்றினை,  Bharathiyar: A Great Tamil, Indian poet! என்னும் தலைப்பில் , எனது ஆங்கில வலைப்பதிவில் எழுதியுள்ளேன். அதனை எனது டிவிட்டர் பக்கத்திலும் பகிர்ந்துள்ளேன். அதனை இங்கு உங்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கின்றேன்.

 

Bharathiyar, known as 'Maha Kavi Bharathiyar,' is a revered Tamil and Indian poet. 'Maha' means great in Tamil. 'kavi' means 'Poet'. Therefore, 'Maha Kavi' translates to a great poet.

 

Among Tamil writers, he is my personal favorite. Despite his short life, his literary achievements were incredibly impressive. Not only was he a prolific poet, but he also played a crucial role as a social and political activist. During the British rule, he ardently fought against their dominion, making him a notable freedom fighter in India's nationalistic struggle.

மறக்க முடியாத கனடிய அனுபவம்!

ஒரு தடவை தொண்ணூறுகளில் ஒரு வீடற்ற வீதி மனிதனை டொரோண்டோ நகரில் ஹில்டன் ஹொட்டல் முன் சந்தித்தேன். அவனுடான அனுபவத்தை மையமாக வைத்து ஒரு சிறுகதையும் 'வீடற்றவன்' என்னும் பெயரில் எழுதியிருந்தேன். வைகறை பத்திரிகை, பதிவுகள், திண்ணை இணைய இதழ்களில் அக்கதை பிரசுரமானது. பின்னர் அம்மனிதனைப் பற்றி மறந்து விட்டேன். பின்னர் ஒரு சமயம் டொரோண்டோ ஸ்டார் பத்திரிகையிலொரு செய்தி வந்திருந்தது. அதில் Bay வீதியும், Adelaideஎ வீதியும் சந்திக்குமிடத்தில் இரு வீடற்றவர்கள் சண்டை பிடித்தது பற்றிய செய்தி அது. அதில் ஒருவர் டொரொண்டோ மேயர் பதவிக்குப் போட்டியிட்ட கெவின் கிளார்க் என்றிருந்தது. அப்பொழுதுதான் உணர்ந்தேன் நான் சந்தித்த மனிதன் கிளார்க்கும், கெவின் கிளார்க்கும் ஒருவரே என்னும் விடயம்.

அண்மையில் விக்கிபீடியாவில் அவரைப்பற்றியொரு பக்கமிருந்ததை அறிந்தேன்.அதில் அவரைப்பற்றிய பல முக்கிய தகவல்கள் இருந்தன. அவர் எண்பதுகளில் டொரோண்டோ பாடசாலையொன்றில் தரம் ஐந்துக்கான ஆசிரியராகவிருந்தவர். அதன் பின்பு வாகனம் சம்பந்தமான வர்த்தம் செய்தவர். நடிகராகவும் இருந்திருக்கின்றார். இவர் The People's Political Party அதாவது மக்களின் அரசியல் கட்சி என்னுமொரு அரசியல் கட்சியின் ஸ்தாபகர். தலைவர். மேயர் தேர்தலுடன் மாகாண தேர்தல்களிலும் போட்டியிட்டவர்.

 

எனது 'வீடற்றவன்' சிறுகதையின் முடிவில் இவ்வாறு கூறியிருப்பேன்: " இந்த புதிரான மாநகரைப் போலவே புதிரான மனிதனிவனெனப் பட்டது. ' உண்மைதான் கெவின் கிளார்க் ஒரு புதிரான மனிதர்தான்.

எனது இந்த அனுபவத்தைப்பற்றியொரு குறிப்பினை எனது ஆங்கிலப் பக்கத்தில் எழுதினேன். அதனை எனது டிவிட்டர் பக்கத்திலும் பகிர்ந்துள்ளேன். அதனை உங்களுடனும் பகிர்ந்துகொள்கின்றேன்.

 

Unforgettable Canadian Experience! 

 

One night in the mid-nineties, I was walking along Richmond Street West towards University Avenue. As I passed the Hilton Hotel, I encountered a panhandler. He stood out from the regular panhandlers, wearing a worn-out coat and pants – a rich-to-rag figure. Politely, he asked for money, and I gave him a toonie, a Canadian two-dollar coin. Grateful, he handed me two quarters and suggested I give them to my daughter, assuring me she could use them to call me when needed.

In that instant, he became a unique and mysterious figure. Intrigued, I decided to engage in a short conversation with him. I noticed he carried a plastic container with 'Clarke for Mayor' written on its surface. Surprisingly, he shared that he was running for Toronto Mayor. He also  told me that he was running to champion people's rights. His revelation astonished me, given the media's portrayal of homeless individuals often dealing with mental illness.To read the full article
