'அமெரிக்க காங்கிரஸ்' (The Library of Congress) , https://www.loc.gov/, நூலகத்தில் பயனுள்ள தமிழ் நூல்கள் கிடைக்கின்றன. சுமார் 10,000ற்கும் அதிகமான தமிழ் நூல்கள் கிடைக்கின்றன. எனது மண்ணின் குரல் (1998) , அண்மையில் ஜீவநதி பதிப்பக வெளியீடுகளாக வெளியான 'கட்டடக்கா(கூ)ட்டு முயல்கள் (சிறுகதைத்தொகுப்பு), வ.ந.கிரிதரன் கட்டுரைகள் ஆகிய நூல்களை அங்கு கண்டு வியந்து போனேன்.

Worldcat.org பயன்மிக்கதொரு தளம். இதில் அங்கத்தவர்களாகவுள்ள , உலகின் பல பாகங்களிலுள்ள நூலகங்களில் உள்ள நூல்கள் பற்றிய விபரங்களைத் தருமொரு தளம். ஆய்வாளர்களுக்கு மிகவும் பயனுள்ள தளம். எனது நூல்கள் பல யாழ் பொதுசன நூலகம், யாழ் பல்கலைககழக நூலகம், பேராதனைப் பல்கலைக்கழக நூலகம் ஆகியவற்றிலுள்ளன. ஆனால் அவை பற்றிய விபரங்களை வேர்ல்கட் இணையத்தளத்தில் தேடியபோது காணவில்லை. அந்நூலகங்கள் 'வேர்ல்கட்'டில் அங்கத்தவர்களாக இன்னும் இணையவில்லையென்று நினைக்கின்றேன். அந்நூலகங்கள் இணைவது பலருக்கும் பயனுள்ளதாக அமையும். இணைவது பற்றி இந்நூலகங்கள் சிந்திக்க வேண்டும்.

கீழே உள்ள பட்டியல் நான் எனது நூல்களை வேர்ல்கட் தளத்தில் தேடியபோது கிடைத்தவை. எங்கெல்லாம் எனது நூல்கள் இருக்கின்றன பாருங்கள். நானே திகைத்துப்போன தருணமிது.
